I have always seen angels. Not as you would think though, I see tall outlines of energy that undulate and move, sometimes if I am very lucky I will see them as people. Everything is connected and I want to tell you about how I met an angel who I believe was sent to me by Archangel Zadkiel, who is my guardian angel.

I was walking in the pouring rain in 2013 moving from the train station to my local bus stop. It was raining so hard I could barely see. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a tall woman wearing a deep violet covering worn by many Muslim women in the neighbourhood known as a Chador. It’s a full body cloak that also covers the head. She came out of nowhere and walked beside me from the train station to the bus not saying a word other than nodding.
The woman was well over six feet tall and it was if the rain didn’t even touch her. I noticed her not just because she towered over me but there was a vibration of power that rolled off of her. Her cloak floated and the very colors seemed to change as she walked as if the cloak was alive with energy and shades of purple. Her eyes were a crystal blue and her skin was a beautiful dark brown.
I realise looking back now, that for some reason nobody seemed to notice her. She was so regal, walking like she owned the place that I thought surely someone would notice the statuesque woman in the cape but nobody did. Our interaction was only a minute at the most. I turned to her as I ran and said “Oh I hope the bus stops I need to get on it!” She looks at me and says “It will stop. I’m taking the bus as well”.
The bus started to pull forward and suddenly lurched to a stop. The bus driver looked really confused. I look at her and say oh thank God! I don’t have to wait another 30 minutes now. I blink and she is gone. Totally and completely. The spot where she was standing is suddenly cold as if she was blocking the wind. There are four of us on the bus. I am the only woman.
Between 2013 and 2020 I’ve had many angel encounters but that one stayed with me because I was fully awake and not “trying” to contact angels. In May 2020 through a series of events, I got confirmation that Archangel Zadkiel is my guardian angel or at least one of them that I’ve had looking out for me over the years. What struck me about Zadkiel is his colour, he works with the violet purple ray with his twin flame Archangel Amethyst, the exact colour of purple I remember seeing from 2013.
When I connect with Zadkiel I see him as a being of beautiful purple or I see him as this card shows him, as an African angel but with a white shirt on. I think he is shirtless in the image because he is known as an angel that lays truths bare and reveals what we need to see.
Zadkiel means “righteousness of God” bringing us emotional balance and helps us transmute bad/negative experiences so that we see the lesson the universe wants to teach us. He most importantly is one of the keepers of the violet flame which helps us to release what no longer serves us. Zadkiel is an angel of justice, bringing beauty, peace, and inner harmony.
He is a protector and a wonderful angel to call on for emotional pain:
